The Walk-In Fume Hood WK Series is engineered to provide effective containment and exhaust of hazardous fumes while accommodating large laboratory instruments and floor-standing equipment. Designed with optimized airflow performance and ergonomic operation, the WK Series offers a practical solution for laboratories that require additional working height and flexible equipment access.
The exhaust system is designed to maintain effective contaminant containment while supporting low exhaust airflow rates. An optimized sash system, full-surface worktop extraction, and durable construction contribute to reliable laboratory ventilation for demanding applications.
The WK Series continuously draws room air through the front opening into the working chamber, capturing hazardous fumes and airborne contaminants generated during laboratory operations. As the sash opening height changes, the exhaust airflow adjusts accordingly to maintain a face velocity of 0.5 m/s, helping provide effective contaminant containment. Captured air is then directed through the exhaust manifold for discharge via the laboratory ventilation system.
