Operational Features

2. Siphon Horizontal Scraper Discharge Centrifuge
Upgrade Basis
Upgraded from the ordinary horizontal scraper discharge centrifuge, with an added siphon function.
Working Principle
Enhances filtration driving force via the siphon principle: All filtrate passing through the filter medium enters the filter chamber, then is discharged out of the drum through the siphon tube.
Adjustable performance
By adjusting the position of the siphon suction port, the liquid level in the siphon chamber (and thus the liquid surface depth) can be changed. This adjusts filtration driving force, filtration speed, processing capacity, filter cake moisture content, and washing efficiency.
Backwashing Device
When needed, backwashing liquid can be added to the siphon chamber; the liquid flows through the filter medium to the drum, helping the filter medium restore filtration performance and regenerate.
