The LLWZ Series Thickening Screen Worm Centrifuge is an advanced hybrid separation solution designed to bridge the gap between decanters and screen centrifuges. Unlike standard filtration equipment, the LLWZ features a unique dual-zone design: a solid bowl settling section for pre-concentration and a cylindrical screen section for final dewatering.

  • It combines the features of a solid bowl decanter centrifuge and a screen worm centrifuge, with excellent dewatering performance: In the settling component, the feed suspension is first pre-concentrated (i.e., deeply dewatered in the conical section of the solid bowl), and the liquid is clarified in the cylindrical section before being finally discharged.
  • The pre-concentrated solids are conveyed by the worm to the cylindrical screen section, where further dewatering is achieved.
  • This centrifuge is particularly suitable for solid-liquid separation in industries such as chemical and pharmaceutical. It features large processing capacity and low moisture content of solids; it performs even better especially for mother liquor with low solid concentration or mother liquor containing a small amount of oil substances.
